Here I am at the writers’ residency at Bundanon on the south coast of New South Wales. My writing efforts today were supervised by a helpful wallaby who watched me through the window in front of my desk.
A wallaby at the window. Maybe he a want-to-be and is observing how a fine writer works. Actually, Gwen, I think you have the start of some lyrics of a song like ‘tie me wallaby down sport’.
Good advice Lynda! I managed one early this morning. Took a bunch of photos which I have put up today. Not sure yet if tomorrow’s rain will be steady or intermittent. Xx Gwen
That looks like a great place to gaze out the window. I hope you are not too distracted to get on with your writing. I visited Bundanon years ago and enjoyed looking around the house, the art studio and the grounds. Happy writing.
It is lovely Linda. Actually the house and art studio are closed to the public at the moment because of the condition of the road. We had quite the adventure for the eight of us to reach the Artist’s Residence.
How lovely. A wallaby is just so much more everything than a squirrel or a rabbit including more distracting no doubt. 😉

I did have to tear my eyes away after a while. He was liable to be a chatterbox 🙂

Haha, that’s how it is with ducks around, too. Not that we have any ducks . . . .

Some folks get a wallaby as a view whilst I get only the ‘wall’ part.

That’s very kind of you. I’m time poor at the moment to follow lots of people faithfully, but I will drop in on yours from time to time.

Be careful what you wish for. Wallabies are as cute as. Might be because they are never constipated!
