Louisa – A Historical Novel

Set in Sydney between 1880 and 1895, Louisa is inspired by the lives of women lured to Australia in search of independence, only to find their choices limited to ‘wife’ or ‘domestic servant’. Will Louisa overcome these constraints and achieve her dream?
Due for publication in March 2026.

Word is spreading. Soon the whole family will be supervising my writing efforts at the writers' residency at Bundanon on the south coast of New South Wales.

Early Morning at Bundanon

Second morning at the writers' residency at Bundanon on the south coast of New South Wales and my body clock has rewired. That meant I got a walk in before more rain swept in.
