Tuesday 11th March 2014, 483klms / 300 miles:
Bill and I are on the road again, and this time, the Blue Beast stays behind. It is the wheels on the Red Dwarf that go around and around on this trip:
So we say ‘goodbye’ to sunny Wollongong, just as a car ship is coming into port, but they do that everyday, so, what the heck! We are off on another exploration of what NSW has to offer.
Our first destination is to our friends at Harrington, where we will stay two nights. I have written about this area before at:
https://garrulousgwendoline.wordpress.com/tag/harrington/ and https://garrulousgwendoline.wordpress.com/tag/laurieton/ (If another WordPress user can tell me how to just make those links ‘here’ and ‘here’ I would appreciate that).
We in the southern hemisphere have just entered autumn. Our summer was rather ordinary, and now, suddenly, the skies have turned blue and the days are stunning. Here are a few photographs from our strolls around Harrington and nearby Crowdy Head, and also a little photo story of the local pelicans. You will notice the white patches under every light post on the jetty, and looking up, you will notice that pelicans sit on each post – – – – imagine, the island of Nauru, is completely made up of phosphate, aka, bird poo …

Oh I am so glad to note you are following along. It looks as if I will have to catch up this journey once we are back home next week, but thank you So Much for the helpful explanation. It has been bugging me for months . . .

Gwen, enjoy your holidays.
You have mentioned above that you could be told how to link you post to your webpage. Here it is. I am no geek. But self taught old man who can just about work around.
Step1. Write “here” as desired where you want to put the link.
Step2. Select “here”. You will see above the blog a link becoming active.
Step3. Click on this link.
Step4. A new pop-up Window will open up.
Step5. Fill in the URL where your webpage is.
Step6. In the Title box, please fill in here again.
Step 7. Click on “Add Link”. you will be redirected to your post. You will notice that your “here” has become blue. Which will be your link when you publish your post.
I hope it helps.
Enjoy your travel and blogging. All the best.
