So honoured that Professor Ian Brown, Head of School of Education at the University of Wollongong, has agreed to launch my book. Many of you will know that I studied at UOW as an (extremely) mature-aged student. Two other special speakers on the day also – come along and find out who! Plus I promise to read a short excerpt or two from I Belong to No One.
Hope to see many of my blog followers on the day – those that are in OZ at any rate!
RSVP to me please.
It would be very embarrassing not to have enough chairs & refreshments . . . or books!

Thank you Kate.
The very best of luck for next week Gwen. Blanche xx
Thanks Blanche
You must be so excited – I am! Wish I was closer so that I could attend too.
Thank you. There is a little of me feels as if I am stepping over a precipice and I don’t know whether I will land on my feet, so it is wonderful to know I have such support from my blogging friends.
I wish I was closer and could attend! Congratulations. I am so excited for you!!
Thank you! It is an exciting time! I did two magazine interviews this week, and next week many more to come. It’s a challenge !
It’s a tad too far away from me, but I will be there in spirit.
Thank you Hilary. It’s a great to know I have support from so many quarters.
Best wishes on your launch. I’ll be thinking of you from Ohio, USA.
Thank you so much! There will be one representative from the USA physically with me on the day, so she can be team member!
I’ll be there in spirit across the time zones from the other side of the world!! All the best for the big occasion 🙂
Thank you Agnes. You know, it’s in part due to people being with me in spirit that I started to write the book at all. So you will be in good company and I am happy to have your support.
Oh, how I wish I were in Oz on that day, Gwen. Good luck! May it be a wonderful day for you.
it’s fine – I will see you virtually waving from the ether 🙂
That I will do, Gwen. I’ll certainly be there in spirit.
Hope all goes well at the launch Gwen. Love to join you but I have a previous engagement that I’d love to get out of. 😛
I just don’t know . . . no sense of adventure!!!
Book me in for a book and a seat thanks, Gwen. Barb
You’re top of my list, my former room-mate!
