I was thrilled when I read this review of my book, I Belong to No One from John’s Story Book, and he kindly gave me permission to reblog. If any of his, or my, US followers have been toying with buying the paperback, it is now on special at Amazon US for $2.56. Here is link to https://www.amazon.com/Belong-No-One-Gwen-Wilson/dp/1409164896/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494051654&sr=8-1&keywords=i+belong+to+no+one
Footnote: July 2017 – John has set his WordPress account to private, and that seems to have removed the reblog … apologies you can no longer see the lovely review.
kind of people to write lovely reviews, super success to you xox
It’s lovely isn’t it? I do hope the studying and singing are still going well for you too. Such a lot of work to get to the top of your field!
They put the start of rehearsals back an hour this morning we’re starting shortly but it gave me a good excuse to catch up with my blogging 🙂.
I had a shock though the lovely Dianne Smiddley I’ve been blog friends with for a long time passed away recently I will sing with extra sparkle for her today ✨
I’ve just re-subscribed to your blog, so should keep up again now with your progress. I can see the layout is different so perhaps you switched from WordPress and I fell off then. Or perhaps I changed something at my end as I was trying to pull back from social media while I concentrated on a first draft for a novel. I am so sad to hear about Dianne Smiddley. It would be lovely for you to have her in mind as you rehearse, although the emotion might hit when you least expect it. Good luck!
You deserve all the plaudits.
Thanks so much Hilary.
I read Johns review sometime ago, I did think at the time, that book reviewing might well be his particular avocation. He did a Stirling job.
He is a very interesting character.
Most of the time 😀
Great review and well deserved.
Thanks so much. It’s so re-assuring to have positive feedback.
I think John did an excellent job – he spoke the truth! You deserve the best, Gwen!
Ah that’s very sweet of you. Thank you.
A worthy first from John
I was surprised and thrilled. I wanted to include your review on that post also, but couldn’t master the technology behind re-blogging two at once. I haven’t been commenting, but this is a moment to say I have been enjoying watching your garden re-blossom with the warming (occasionally) rays of spring. That Jackie of yours is a keeper.
Great review!
I was very touched when I saw it.
Thanks Gwendolyn I hope the book sells well. It deserves to.
