Second morning at the writers’ residency at Bundanon on the south coast of New South Wales and my body clock has rewired. That meant I got a walk in before more rain swept in.
First comment was about the atmospheric feelings I would have – very positive. Then you had to go and spoil it all by talking about landslips and engineers give ‘assurance’. Changed my mind.
It sure could. We’re in a quagmire here and worrying about the 6 miles of landslipped road to get back out. Yesterday we were assured the “engineers” has said it was all fine. I’d say that was assured, not re-assured…
Thank you Derrick. One of our contingent bailed out today after a night of constant rain. At the moment I am practicing ‘resilience’. It is beautiful – and atmospheric.

I like to tailor my message to suit the intended audience.
So between you and me let’s just stick with atmospheric. And today the sun is shining, too.

Oh I think the mist certainly makes for interesting, moody photographs.

It was atmospheric being the only person walking that way so early in the morning. Just the birds, roos, me – and the mud.

Nice, Gwen. Cloudy, rain coming in, Momma Roo ready to protect her baby, still a nice walk

I changed direction when I saw a big old man kangaroo. They can tear you to pieces if they are not in a good mood.
